Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action Slated for December 1

The much anticipated  Fullmetal Alchemist   live action movie will open on December 1, 2017. First visual from the movie featuring protagonist Edward's brother Alphonse Elric has also been unveiled. December 1 happens to be "Movie Day" in Japan where there are discounts on movie tickets so a large turnout is expected. The latest visual for the movie shows Alphonse Elric recreated in high-quality CG with details faithfully represented. Fullmetal Alchemist was serialized from 2001 to 2010 in  Shounen Gangan  magazine by Arakawa Hiromu. The bestselling manga has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide. The live action cast stars popular idol Yamada Ryosuke, Honda Tsubasa (as Winry), Dean Fujioka (as Mustang) and more. The movie is directed by Sori Fumihiko.
